Crowd of Sound

Crowd of Sound is a platform for encounters between physical visitors to the Serpentine Gallery and virtual onlookers. The augmented reality application obviates the need to share a physical space to perceive the presence of others, thus claiming a seamless place of collective participation that liberates the concept of place from a single physical space, allowing bodies near and far to experience proximity not through space, but through sound.
