Headspace
An installation for the Los Angeles exhibition A One Night Stand for Art and Architecture. The project, a carpet corridor that collapses as it is traversed, offers immediate bodily contact with architecture. At the end of the corridor, a space for one’s head, the headspace, amplifies the condition of connected isolation that characterizes the American roadside motel. Like motel rooms, Headspace is used in unexpected ways and is open to all. May 2016.
